I hope you’re doing well during these tumultuous times. Make sure to stay safe! We’re still in the midst of a global pandemic, even though many have chosen to forget it. If you do plan to leave the house, whether it be for essential activities or to participate in a protest, make sure to do your best to socially distance and always wear a mask!
I know you’re probably wondering where I’ve been for the last month and a half. I’ve been keeping myself fairly busy, with AP tests, prepping for the national debate tournament, and so much that I couldn’t possibly capture in one blog post. Perhaps the most exciting development on my end is a new project I started with a few of my friends, and that’s what I want to talk about today.
I started Elloquently to equalize access to English instruction. Elloquently is a nonprofit organization that connects kids in need of English instruction with qualified high school and college tutors. Because of social distancing guidelines, many students, both within the US and abroad, can’t access in-person English instruction. While wealthier students can afford online tutoring services, many students cannot. To rectify this growing educational disparity, Elloquently provides free-of-cost, quality tutoring.
Check out our website at elloquently.com for more information! If you know anyone in need of English instruction, please connect them with us. We’re happy to help any way we can. Students from around the world have been signing up and taking english classes with our tutors.
If you’re interested in joining our growing tutoring team, fill out the form on our homepage and we’ll get you paired up with a student.
Thanks so much for sticking with my blog and remember to stay safe!
