About the “One Word Book Review”

As I reread my previous book reviews, I found myself becoming victim to “filler words.” I don’t believe I am alone. More students are focusing on the word count of essays rather than the quality. While description may be necessary in some cases, using fancy words and extending sentences as much as possible doesn’t add to a piece of writing. in the eyes of some, it may even detract. To combat this, I have decided to experiment with one-word book reviews. This experiment may be a complete failure, but at least I’ll have tried.

P.S: I may cheat at times and use phrases.

P.P.S: I may have an additional sentence to explain my thought process.
